Pecan Oat Patties

4 c boiling water
4 c rolled oats
1 onion, finely chopped
½ c raw seeds (ground flax seed works well)
½ c pecan meal or chopped walnuts
2 T vegesal or similar seasoning
1 T molasses
3 T yeast flakes
1 T Italian seasoning
½ T oregano
½ T basil
Boil the water; mix the rest together and then pour the boiling water over it.
Mix and let it sit 20 minutes
Shape into patties.
Bake @ 350 first side 25 minutes, second side 20 minutes.
Let cool
Note: these are better the next day and they freeze well.
